Is the picture of Marcus supposed to be when he was younger because he looks different.

Looks like a fake cover to me. You can see Carmine and Dom, It's the same as the cover of Gears of War, just a different background etc.

If this is real, I'm dissapointed they haven't made a awesome new cover.

Yeah if this is the real cover it would really bug me because it's very similar to the game's cover. Not background wise or anything like that just the way the characters and weapons are placed.

I hope we find out how/when they decided to attach the chainsaw. I bet there's a cool story behind it, maybe Adam Fenix developed it? He was a military scientist after all right?

Its not going to be Carmine. He was only young when he got killed, he was probably a kid at this time in the Pendulum Wars.

This is the real cover, unfortunately.

It's incredibly similar to the game's cover.

I'd also like to point out that that is not a lancer; the baynoette is probably different for that reason alone. It's a bit heavier and higher calibur than a lancer, at least from a glance. I'd like to gouge someone with it, though...

Alas, from what I've read the book is about as good as the cover. Generic and uncreative. That being said, it was the wee section uploaded by OXM.

Ah, and Marcus isn't scarred half to hell. I put this between 4 and 10 years prior to the first game.

He was sentenced to 40 years in jail, but was only there for 4 becuz Dom rescues him at the beginning of the game, 14 years after E-day.

At the end of the day it is only the cover, its the content that matters. Although it was a bit lazy using the same cover basically.
