with the new novel coming out, i believe epic should also release a title from the locasts aspect of the war.
a view through there eyes if you will, of the humans and why the locasts fight this war.
why they have come to exist on the planet sera and answer questions that have posed so many threads on this forum.
why didnt we hear much about the locast until emergence day etc, what is there use for this substance called immulsion if any...etc etc.

I dont know, it doesnt seem like they would be able to make an interesting novel about the locust only because they seem to be like a machine, get the job done and move on. No drama, no funny little quirks, just "we sank a city" or "we got chainsawed". If they were more personable maybe, but I vote no

that all depends on the author...not all novels are funny etc. The locast side would provide more gore from a monters point of view...and something about myrrah talking in those cutscence is just intreguing to me. those few words just make your skin crawl a little. it could speak of torture, of all those little things that monsters do to make things so much more interesting.
hell i just wanna know what the locasts cats are all about...a documentary video would be sufficent.
the reason they are not that personable is the fact that we do not play them in the story...we are an outside source looking in....not the other way around.
even villians have there moments where they are not at war...siting around a fortress talking **** about there enemies and such
i think it would be very interesting with karen travis behind the pen.

true... i didnt really think of the fact that we are only seeing them in battle, i guess it would be expandable if someone really took the time on it

well it could happen it would need alot of backstory and the locust can definately provide.
"Why They Are doing What They Are"
why the immulsion means so much to them and so forth,
and maybe Battle Training.
as it says a locust sniper is trained from birth to decapitate a single "Gear"
alot of that info would definately satisfy a gearheads addiction.

Maybe will get some more info in Gears of War 2.
I can see it coming out in addition to the humans side of the story. But the first book there going to try to get you to relate to the humans basic instict to survive.
But they could slowly reveal more of a loucust side.

It's a great idea to have a book through the locusts perspective. I'm not trying to be mean, but you spelled locusts wrong, just for future reference.
