Microsoft support losers

I got bored of trying to get it work so i rang microsoft support...

Got cut off 3 times.

Once i got through the lady on the other side connected to my desktop... showed her what happens.

She checked out my system info.

After an hour on the phone she decides "Your processor isn't good enough"

WHAT?!

I spent 5 minutes telling her my processor is Core 2 Duo...

Oddly, it seems that she was right. Your PC has an Intel CPU that runs at 2.13GHz. The requirements for an Intel CPU is that it run at 2.4GHz. I'm thinking since Gears is a port that it's probably a single threaded application, so you're most likely not getting a benefit from the second core other than that you can run more stuff in the background.

However, that probably shouldn't cause much other than slow performance - what problem are you having exactly?
