Taunt pack

i installed the game UT2003 in my system..
works fine.. i then ran the patch 2225.. and then tried running it again .. it doesnt work anymore..

i have tried to solve this prob in many ways..
i also got hold of a tauntpack.uax from a ftp.. but it not recognized..

please if anyone can help me out.. do so..

tauntpack.uax goes in sounds
there should be a u file that goes in system folder double check if files are there

also if the taunt pack is from ut99 it wont work ut2003 and ut2004 they work

well it was for ut2003.. it doesnt work.. any idea wat i can do,,
reinstalling doesnt seem to work..
getting same problem after patching..

we have progress..
i got a tauntpackuax.uz2.. decompressed it using uztool

now my error is this

Umm, are you sure you're using the right patch? As these files look like from UT2004 or something? At least most files that start from "new" are like that.

im sure i patched it with windows 2225 .. for ut2003
ko anyways nice thing is i found a ftp site.. ut's server itself i got hold of all the files ut was asking..

they were

tauntpack
newdeath
bloodfx
particlemeshes
E-pickups
pickupskins
generalimpacts
derez
sc_volcano_t

decompressed them and put them in the right folder..
and wala another error

ok another thing i just noticed.. all the .det files in ut/system/ folder are associated with ms office for some reason..?
is tht causing general PF error...

.det is German Translation. If you don't use it, you can simply delete them. Associations don't matter at all.

OK, now that's odd. So, UT2003 with a clean install goes well? And with the latest patch it does that? Looks like loads of packages missing. Not sure, but maybe you need the Bonus Packs before the patch? Might be worth a try, will give you the files faster than you would get manually:

That's really odd... Anyway, you still need XGameTextures.utx. For me everything worked from the first install. Maybe a corrupt download or something?

ok wow.. now its progress..
i uninstalled my ut.. cleaned whole registry..

installed ut2003 again..
ran 2199 patch.
ran epic bonus pack.
ran ut exe
error.. wrong cd inserted.. retry or cancel.
now wat do i do ?

Umm, insert the right one? Or actually, does it require it? Seems your Manifest.ini is corrupt or non-writeable. Or you have a CD requirement set on UT2003.ini.

i tried putting the right cd.. doesnt work still..
