Need some help.

I just picked up a copy of gears of war for the pc since i dont have an xbox and it took me all day to install it and then it would come up that it doesnt meet the requirements but i have windows xp, 2.8 ghz intel processor the only thing is the video card but im downloading the video card it requires and hopefully it works does anyone think im missing something?

Check out this site (http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest) to see if you can run it. Select 'Gears of War' from the product list. It will tell you what you have and what you're missing in order to run it.
