GEARS 2 has to have theater, maby?

Here is my logic, If you can save images, that would be very difficult in real time after you are dead and floating around, and that would also make it imposible to take images of your self. I have not heard any information of how you take the pictures so I just have to assume that their is some kind of theater option.

You can take pictures while you are dead through the ghost cam. The pictures would probably be more for a "quick pic" of a really cool battle going on, with a lot of blood on the scene. Basically, it's like real life. You see something cool, and you need to capture it really quick before its over.

They should tweak and add more stuff. I wouldn't mind if they released the game sometime in February-April 2009.

i honestly dont want to wait anymore for gears 2 but if it will screw up the gameplay, campaign and other things. than it would be best but were fine.
they've been working on this game for a long time now..

I wouldn't want to wait for another month unless they've decided to add destructible environment, then I'll still be happy if they release it sometime before next summer.

Halo 3 is good, not great. I go back to it from time to time in hope that I will, once again, be hooked. But I never do. With gears, I always want to play and win!

People seem to forget these are two different games, what one has the other does not need to have...Theater for example.

Cliff has flat out stated that using ideas from other games is great, and I totally agree. Video games are a collaborative artform. Why is right-trigger almost always used to fire your weapon in shooters? Because it works really well, people are used to it, and it makes more sense to steal that control scheme than to make up a new one just to feel "original".

Also, Halo 3 was in production for three years. Technically more, but if you want to get all technical then the first Gears took MUCH longer as ideas were floating around decades earlier. And it IS a great game. I have some gripes with it but you can't deny that it's well made.

Honestly I'll probably take a pic once for the achievement adn then again if something weird happens in the match like someone getting glitched into a wall or something crazy like that.

THEY WOLD HAVE BUT THEN YOU WOLD NOT PLAY THIS YEAR, BUT IF THEY DID IT WOLD BE MORE LIKE HALO 3 AND IF THEY ADD STUFF FROM OTHER GAMES THEN GEARS WOLD NOT BE THE COOL AND AWSOME AND KICK A$$ game that us GEAR HEADS HAVE COME TO KNOW AND LOVE.

The bad thing about not having a theatre, is that you cannot take pictures of yourself while doing a cool execution. Someone else has to take a pic of you.

Personally i think theatre would be a great idea gears of war has the most montages on youtube of any other game out there it would definitely help if there was indeed a theatre but i doubt we'll get one this time around(which is ok with me BTW) just throwing my thoughts out there.

I've watched many footage and canNOT see destructible environments.
Just likst in GOW1, only specific objects can be destroyed
