Frankly they should have only bothered making a PC version if they were going to put enough time into it to get rid of any bugs or performance issues, which they obviously didn't bother to and that's how we ended up with an unpatched butchered port of the game.

He didn't say "at this time," he said "this time around" referring to GOW2, so there will be no PC version.

actually i think it might be like halo 3 how they are delaying that on pc. its PROBALLY becuase microsoft are going to replace vista in the next year for some reason so they may be waiting for the next windows operating system release first!! anybody else agree?

i'm just stabbing in the dark here.

I was thinking the same thing. If it is released for the PC, it won't be for at least year. They could be telling the truth though and the PC version may never happen, but I get the feeling that they will do it eventually.

That did happen for Gears 1; however, if you discount everything you read/hear/see, then you will never have a basis to respond and the answer to every question will be "maybe."

the REAL reason is becuase of piracy issues - google it! which is understandable but a shame for people like me.

No most definately not, Cliffy B specifically said that there will be no Gears 2 on the PC. This is because of the horrible reception for the first Gears on PC.

they can say what ever they want to say but its about the money in every aspect...they are a business not a charity. pcs cost more thus having less users than a console. format for pc's are numerous....consoles are one thus causing less to produce. Console will sell 5 times the amount of games that a pc would...thus making moe money.

i dont want to hear that epic is turning there backs on the fans....if you are a true fan you will buy a 360 for a third the amount of money you have invested in a pc....fans do not profit from a game only enjoy it....epic is a business and will go where its easier to produce for cost efficient reasons and will sell more copies...not to mention staying away from piracy.

and yes i used to be a hardcore pc gamer...i just realized i got a hell of alot more time to play and a hell of alot more money in my wallet....from buying a console.

why would they only make gears 2 on pc when the game started on 360
!??!?!

pc gamers are so selfish its not even funny anymore.

pc gamers are LUCKY they got a port of the first one in the damn first place so stop crying about it not coming to pc!

Yep. Give me GoW2 with an editor and I'll rush to the store as soon as it comes out. Otherwise, no 50$ for you, Epic.

What are you in PC GAMING ALLIANCE FOR? Not releasing your game on PC isn't going to help.

yeah its really annoying but they are worried about piracy in some interview they mentioned they know where to get the game from. the should just make them more secure like office 2007-thats a solid activation. or what they should do is offer something extra with the real version to persuade people not to download an illegal one!

or they could make it complusary to activate online to track game sales and online players then track them or something like that.
