Does anyone know if the achievement needed to unlock Anthony Carmine in multiplayer has to be on a certain difficulty?

from what i've heard if u complete act one on any difficulty
(idk if its gow1 or gow2...) then u unlock carmine which, i've heard that hes a bit smaller then the others... not 100% confirmed tho....

its on GOW1 because they said it is linked achievements from GOW1 to GOW2
