Locust leader in guardian [Archive]

If Hoffman and Raam are still the leaders in Guardian, what would happen to the leader of the locust if they never had Gears 1? They wouldn't be able to pick Raam because obviously its only unlockable by completing the first chapter or something like that. Would it just be another character like the Raam 2.0?

I always thought that if the person didn't have "A Dish served cold" then they wouldn't be able to use RAAM outside guardian.

I need this cleared up one more time, saves don't effect the linked achivements right? So long as i have the achivements, i get the characters?

If you picked Marcus and your the leader you don't switch to hoffman, you stay Marcus.

Yeah I think it's based off just the achievements.
Wouldn't be fair for people with Memory Cards who have to delete files and such.

Any player model can be leader. It'll say at the top whose the leader.

Actually that's not correct. Whoever is leader for that round has the leader model. For COG, that's Hoffman. For Locust, you'll see... but it's not RAAM.

You are correct though that it will tell you which player is leader for that round at the start of each round. Plus you get a HUD indicator pointing you to the enemy leader and if you use TAC/COM then you'll also get a pointer to your teams leader as well.
