John Travolta as Marcus

Hi u guys probably disagree but i think that John Travolta looks like Marcus in wildhogs

that bandana sure helps but yes, there's actually some resemblance in that shot. however, he's not the right guy to play marcus imo.

I haven't even heard of the movie... but I'll check it for sure now. I was more referencing his roles in the New Grindhouse films, and most of his other movies.

He does a half-smile near the end of Act 1 when Dom says 'Guess you're sitting next to Marcus then'.
Which will be a better movie? Watchmen or Gears? Wanted and 300 have a lot in common IMO so it could be close. However Marcus could kick Rorscach's ass in a fight.

All I know is getting Travolta to play Marcus would be like Cage playing Jonny Blaze. A terrible mistake. Travolta is to famous and doesn't have the edge to play Marcus.

Viggo Mortensen or Ed Harris would be perfect in my book. Both are just as bad ass as Fenix.

While I like both of them I can't say I think either would be good for the role of Marcus. Viggo just doesn't seem at all like marcus to me, in voice or appearance. Ed Harris, kind of reminds me of marcus but personally I just think he's a bit too old for the part.

NO! Just because he looks like him doesnt mean he can play him. John Travolta has picked terrible movies for the past 5 years and doesnt deserve a role like Marcus. The best choices for Marcus are Russell Crowe, Bruce Willis and Mel Gibson.

Travolta would be a bad choice for Marcus. I like the guy. But he's better at the slick roles. When he tries to get all angry bad ass, it just doesn't work. And his voice is all wrong.

I don't think most actors could play Marcus. Marcus should be someone who can play gritty with a tough guy edge.

For me, Dominic Purcell is the best choice. He looks like him, has a deep voice & can play the bad ass. Although, I wouldn't be opposed to Russell Crowe either. He could fit the role nicely.
