Game is not working for me , , , =( need help please!

I was soo happy that I got this game on Sale for PC today. I installed this game in my PC successfully and check for the update patch. Now when I tries to run the game, everything freeze on the "Press enter" screen. I press enter many time and took the game 2 mins to respond to the menu selection. At this point everything freeze up and dosent work for me. I need help to get this game to work. . . . Please thanks . .

GPU: ATI HD 4870
Ram: 4 Gig XMS 1066
