I noticed that originally but after closer inspection, I think the guy on the roof shoots first and then the second shot is from the guy in the street. This is because after the two shots when he zooms out, he has no bullet icon in the top right.

Yet more old news. How do you think we found out about Seriously 2.0?

Your right. In fact, if you look, the guy gets hit with the first shot. That confirms the sniper is now two shots before a reload? I'm still not convinced on that. Surely that will just be like AR but worse, since if you hit both shots on the body they are down..

EDIT: Also, I noticed that the framerate drops on Day One has gone. Day One appeared to be kind of jittery and having alot of framerate drops in the GTTV episode, but it seems silky smooth now.

It does look like you can shoot twice now. That would be a great addition in opinion. The sniper rifle would be pretty useless if you could only get headshots with it. I still don't understand peoples complaints about the active downs, when everyone is okay with shotguns, which are much easier to get kills with. The 2 shots would be cool for sure.

There's so many stuff to show with what they've got right now as I speak. However thinking that so many cry babies will go "Such effect/weapon/sound/gameplay isn't nice I preferred Gears 1's" it makes you want to keep the community on the wait, then bring up some new videos with really new stuff.

Not really, it would just mean only the skilled players with it would pick it up, which is how a sniper is always meant to be - a weapon that takes skill to use.

Because it's more fustrating than host advantage. Honestly, if I could have pulled one feature from the game, it would have been active downs with the sniper. It's just cheap. I get so annoyed when a sniper rolls round the corner and active downs you at point blank range, or when you flank a sniper just for him to turn around at the last minute and blindfire which downs you.

While many would argue that's a good defensive mechanism for the snipe, it shouldn't be. The upside of the sniper should be headshots are a one hit kill, but the downside being you have to make sure you watch your back as well. I couldn't be happier it's gone. Bring on the headshots.

Two shots without re-loading for the sniper would be worse than active downs. It would overpower the sniper even more than it is now :(

Well no, not really in my opinion. I still would prefer just one shot (which I honestly think it just is) but if I had to choose between the two, I'd go for the two shots over active downs personally.

Two shots are harder to hit than one.

While I agree that it takes more skill to get headshots, it also takes skill to get active downs as well. Theres a lot more to it than people give it credit. First of all you have to get an accurate reload and then shoot the person from a far distance. Then you have to get to them fast enough to kill them. Seems more complicated than using the shotguns, which are the first people to complain about the active downs.

- First of all you have to get an accurate reload

- shoot the person from a far distance

- have to get to them fast enough to kill them.
- Reload is so easy you can do it without looking at the slider.

- Most active downs happen at close-to-medium range.

- Not everyone plays execution.

My gripe about the active down is not getting downed from a long distance, although annoying if that happens I am to blame for being out of cover, but more the close-up active down where the sniper walks out of his cover and around mine and blinds me down. It takes little or no skill and even if they fail to get the perfect re-load they can still walk round your cover, hit you with the non-active sniper bullet and then pull out their pistol for the easy down. It happens too often.

Now with a two shot sniper they have TWO goes at hitting you before pulling out the pistol or shotty for the down. That would get old quick, trust me.

I rarely get downed by active downs. I think if you know how to use cover well, and watch your surroundings, you won't have issues.

1) There looks to be a good amount of recoil, where the player's crosshair jumps around after the shot

2) You can argue it away that the player simply too extra time before firing a second time, but if you have two shots then I doubt that they'd let you fire them in quick succession. Chances are that you would fire the first, and there's be a second inbetween where smart enemies can hop behind better cover or whatnot

I'm not really convinced that the sniper fired twice, though. The first time is pretty obvious (where the enemy is on the left side), but the second time is not so clear cut. The sound could be coming from the enemy's longshot instead, and you see the crosshair dip down as if from recoil, but you then see it dip back up and dip back down the same amount so it looks like it could have just been the player physically moving their view around quickly.
