X08? Myth or Fact...Will EPIC attend?

Hi, I was just wondering if someone could tell me if X08 has been announced and/or talked about.. If so, will EPIC games be attending it this year.. I am assuming You guys would be there if it is being held,since its Microsofts Event and Gears 2 is the big GAME of the century.. Could anyone Confirm anything?

I searched on google to find some info about it but all I got were links to other forums, with ppl asking the same question as me, but not getting any answers..

If Gears of War 2 and its Creators do attend this Event (if it even exists this year) what are some of you here on the forums expecting to see from it,or expect to hear from it.. I would like to see a full Match played between ppl who actually play Gears 1 full time... A new Map and confirmation of any other weapon they have not confirmed or talked about in public yet.. :confused:

X07 didn't happen, but if I recall correctly, Microsoft said they would do an actual event this year (don't know if it's gonna be called XO8) in the UK for the European market, since they are trying to widen their worldwide appeal. In which case, Gears 2 would be there.

I'll try find the article, I think it was on Joystiq ages ago saying about it.

anyway...i DONT wanna see new maps or weapons becuase i would actually like my mind to be blown when i play the game...

i want the be like "whoa that a cool gun or whoa thats a cool map!!"
