View Full Version : Stranded Heads Pop Real Good

You guys know the end of Act 2, when you fight alongside the stranded against oncoming Locust forces, and after that, 5 Boomers fire from a super-sized emergence hole?

Has anyone noticed that if you watch the Stranded fight, every once in a while one of their heads will get blown off? Pretty cool/unexpected.

yeah i only noticed that twice though...really unexpected.

i actually seen it and thought it was baird who got his head blown off...i was like whoa!!!

Lol! I remember the first time I noticed it. I was fooling around in the mission, and I was just slowly walking along the boards while all the shooting was going on. I was watching a stranded with a lancer in front of me, and then all of a sudden, his head EXPLODES. I instantly take cover and hear one of the AI yell, "SNIPER!"

Ah, good times.

i flipped s**t when i saw that.i thought i was safe where i was too!i like killing the boomers with the giant gas tank though.

Really, I don't notice their heads come off cus' I always stay in the building but i'll try that out tomorrow.

Wasn't it possible to shoot the stranded by yourself? Atleast I remember the trick in Act4 in Marcus home, the only place where you can see blood spats after shooting at Cole and Baird.. :p

Yeah, you can shoot at Cole and Baird right before you have to protect the house from the Locusts. XD
