how can i copy component variables?

I'm posting this for [WuTz]! because he has no internet account and it is really difficult for him to get online. As i have no sense of scripting you must forgive me when i write some odd things:p

Here s his question:

I want to copy a component variable, but i dunno how:(

I tried newsprite=oldsprite, but it only linked newsprite to the old one:eek:

Please help me!

You can use "new" to duplicate objects by giving the old object as the archetype (http://wiki.beyondunreal.com/Archetype).
