but here it is build #3.1 of DM-Torlan_jungle


two & 1/2 mounts of work so far, i hope the people that play it will tell me what they think ;)

I will upload the UN-cooked files Of the map so people can cook for the PC
anyone is welcome to help OR edit as they see fit ;)

i will cook it. it is easy. just go on unreal frontend, type in the map's name

set mod type to map and press cook. easy

& to boot< I'm giving you guys the mesh .UPK uncooked so you can use them on your levels if you wanted to ;)

I cooked it and played it.
Very nice map. Very large.
The bots didn't seem to travel all over the map.
I really liked the bridge although the scale seemed a bit large.

I just ask that you do change the name a bit, like Torlan_jungle_MB,
I will update this level but I am working on 3ds Max & ZBrush a lot, so the next build by me on this level will be quite some time from now, =|

spending all my free time trying to fell my head with as much info as I can on using them

as I understand the Copyright laws, only the people that have the rights to the stuff can profit from it.. But, I could be wrong it would not be the first time.. :p

I just download the last version with bots path fix from VoodooMaster but UT just crash ? Trying to load the map with no active mutator and with the fix for NVidia cards won't fix the crash either ?

I'm assuming no tho its a bit of my fault as well I should off uploaded the crysis_content3.upk file as well or tell you to download the uncooked files and use the package. :p

the forrest is more "european" style and new....kewl ....we are a lot to be a little bored by crysis pure tropical one ; )

the organisation of the map is nice....and .....the cord bridge..WOW.....amazing !

*i was caught on some rocks in the forrest and even with a good hammer shock no way to free me

*two trees are "floating in the air" close to the river little beach(they dont touch the ground)

so nice in beta...cant wait the final...thx for that :)

Hey mate, this is your map after all even if you give the oppurtunity to anybody to change it the way they like.

Please, always add the download link for the last current version on the first page.

I'm not familiar with "cooking", so unless you made a complete fomctional cook map, there is no download for me. Where not all mappers here !

No offence but it is already not to serious for a mapper to throwing is work of art in the field, it is even less serious if you're fan have to go through several pages to find the last good version !

Works fine here. Download both the "PC Map file" and the "PC Package file " and put them in the custom maps folder. It crashed for me without the package file. Works fine with both.

When in doubt - ask permission, some companies can be very cool about it.

This is totally right. You shouldn't be ripping content from a rival game and porting it into a new one without permission - just distributing it to people who don't own the original game is enough to and you in trouble.
