CoG Character Blues

Anyone else experiencing what I just coined as "CoG Character Blues"?

First of all, let me explain. So... there comes a point in time in every game of Gears where one must pick his/her character. It just so happens to be that you find yourself on CoG this round. Who do you pick? Because lately... I don't have an answer to that particular question. All of the CoG characters just seem so bland and boring to me.

This is exactly why I find myself wishing/hoping/praying that I wind up on the Locust side. Because truth be told, the CoG are boring me.

So... do you have the "CoG Character Blues"?

Does it matter? Really? My default is set to Baird and Naked Locust guy. I don't think I've ever changed it since the first day I was messing around with the options.

I just use carmine. But I play mostly on locust, because the host (and his friends) are most of the time on cog and I don't like being on the hosts team..

Yeah... I've enjoyed all of the CoG at some point in time but none of them seem to stick. I played Baird for the longest because let's be honest here... He's just plain talented. Lately I've been looking for somebody new and no one seems to tickle my fancy. These CoG Character Blues are rough... I might have to go to a docter. 0.o

there you go: if maria is a playable character, you could go and play the doctor (wasnt she a nurse?).... and you could say "DOCTOR DOCTOR, give me the news, i got a bad caaaase of loving you!"

i cant stand the locast cause it seems like they are the only ones you can really hear in gears..that damn snarl..there too loud

i personally think the locust are cooler than the cogs... maybe its just the fact that i like to play as the bad guys

For some people choosing a character is indeed a 'fun little distraction'. As for others, including myself, it's probably one of the hardest decisions I make on a dailyish baisis. I mean who wants to play as a character that they don't like. I want to kill with style and look good at the same time.

In a way i play locust because the cog are so much more interesting to kill.

Oh and whenever me and my mates play, there has to be at least one RAAM for each carmine. Because their the most delicious headshots ever.

I like to mix it up. My favs are Carmine, Dom, and Baird.

You know, the other day I went over to a pals house and he had a HDTV. That got rid of my CoG Character Blues in a heartbeat! I wouldn't mind playing any character on a HDTV they all look maddeningly awesome. I noticed something different everytime I played.

I prefer to be on locust anyway because, not in all cases but a lot, more noobs end up on cog as they keep pressing left so they can be on the host team. Shirtless Grenadier FTW :D

I saw it on a projection screen that was about 7 feet by 7 feet. It was the wall of a house. Not only was Marcus near my height.... but you talk about detail. I almost crapped myself, and 2 is even better.
