They both suck pretty bad. What is your price range for a video card? Read this about buying a card.

Both of those perform at roughly the same level. Though both of those card are new, they are ment more for video playing, not gaming. Check the site oldkawman1 posted as it's a good resource on graphic cards.

Both of those are not fit for games like UT3. At minimum, you should look at the 8800GT (the 4850 is much better for the price though) for running the game with high settings. If you don't care about graphics at all, then an 8600GT will get the game running, but don't expect much.
ATI 4850 and 4870 are the better value for money... still nvidia 8800GT performs very well, but for the money go for ATI ( I have a 8800GT and I'm very happy but for the same money I should have bought the 4850 or 4870 faster graphic cards)

The 8600GT works well on medium graphics, but you'll want to keep an eye on temperatures. It shouldn't be too much of a problem unless your playing 8 hours straight every day. Keep away from the 8500 GT though, it's not a gaming card.

Only the 8600GT with DDR3 memory works well, stay away from all the DDR2 versions of the 8600 card.
