Please help. I can start up UnrealEd, load maps, and navigate the 4 view screens w/ no problem. However, when i try and select a brush on any view type, it won't select anything. *i also can't right click in any view*

I know that the views are recognising my clicks since i can navigate the map in each view. I've maid an extremely simple map by creating a 512x512x512 subtraction, and then tried to vertex edit it, and change the wall textures.
**the toolbar on the left let me make the red square brush, and subtract it from the world. and i could move that brush using ctrl+mouse drag combo, since that automatically selects the red brush type (sorry i forget the actual name of those brushes). I can't select the red brush by clicking on it**

I've reinstalled all of UT2k4, and tried switching pointer types/modes, with no results.

System Specs:
Windows xp pro
1gig ram
ATI Radeon X1050 (i believe it has 512 on-board ram)
Intel Core 2 CPU 4300@1.8GHz

I've had the same problem. It's REALLY annoying. I'm awaiting an answer.

HEY.. got it to work!!.. (well, for now at least :P ) i read @ http://wiki.beyondunreal.com/Legacy:UnrealEd_Bug_List (http://wiki.beyondunreal.com/Legacy:UnrealEd_Bug_List)that UnrealEd doesn't like it if your video card uses any anti-aliasing. I played w/ my video card's settings.. and now the ED will let me select things.

The 2 setting's i changed where... 1. i set videocards over all setting to be geared towards performance instead of quality (i.e. bad picture, quicker processing) 2. i set anti-aliasing to "let the application decide", instead of 2x.

Strangely i think the editor won't work if you just change one of those.. but have fun playing w/ it.. let me know it if helps you!!

Awesome. Well, I'm gonna get a brand new computer soon anyway, so I'll wait until then to fix it. :)

Usually deleting your UED.ini file will fix this. Might also need to delete the user.ini. Just do not delete DefUED.ini
