I have a small problem when it comes to vertex weighing in 3DS Max, I can't get the right amount, I know all about it and how it can fix weird looking limbs in models but I don't know where to start. The model looks fine in 3DS Max but when I test the animations both of the hands are half-way in the forearms as shown in this picture:

Can anyone help me on how to use vertex weights properly so that I can enjoy playing with this model, everything is fine except the hands, anyone who can direct me to the right direction will get the opportunity to play with the Beta Masterchief Model that I'm working on porting over.
