I have a video run through that I will put up later. The first map is outdoors and larger and the second map is indoors and short but intense.

Thanks to a post on the UT3 forums by cannedmushrooms I was able to duplicate the building meshes and destroy their collision boxes so cover works on and near buildings.

the maps looking nice but

1. they are too difficult!!!
= finally i shot a locust down and this bastard need 3/4 magazine of the lancer to be dead!!! wtf?!? anyway too hard to play with fun i think

2. the a.i. is very stupid
= the most of the locust just stand still and fire at me

3. i dont like that map packages
= why u dont release every map alone?

the maps arre looking very good! but i missed the fun in the gameplay, sorry

1. The locust all have standard hit points. I don't even know if it is possible to make them stronger. Your mistake there..

2. What locust stand still and fire at you? I only saw this in one location, sort of near the middle of the map. I didn't mess with their A.I at all so it may be a problem with pathing or collision, not AI. I should look at it.

3. You don't like getting more than one map? I don't understand you. The reason I have released two maps at a time the last two times is because originally I plan to just create one map, but then I realize it will be impractical to release one huge one and I rather split it into two smaller maps. This is easier on everyone's computers and much easier on the map editor. Also, as there are no checkpoints it would be ridiculous to make someone play through both of these maps and expect them to live through it all. That is another reason to split them up.

The maps are very difficult I think, if more people tell me they are too difficult I could create an easier version... However I figure most of the people playing custom maps are more of the hardcore players that are very good, as they have completed the campaign and multiplayer and are looking for new challenges...

The first map is much more slower paced than the second map. You can do a lot of hiding and slowly killing enemies from far away at your own pace. The second map is very in your face and difficult but as it is so small and predictable that each time you die you come up with a new plan to beat it.

2. i try the next days to record a video that it shows that to you, cant explain that very well

3. i completet campaign (insane) and versus every day since november last year... i would say im not bad (look at my gamertag) :rolleyes:
but this maps are too hard. dont understand me wrong, i like them really... but when custom maps are too hard its no fun for me to playing them

btw i think custom maps should be also playable for gamepad players. you cant tell me that you completet this maps with gamepad^^ ;)

That was nice looking map and it worked great, but snow texture is too low, but who cares.
Map was pretty easy if you ask me, but Gamepad players might have problems.

Oh yeah, I would never imagine playing with a controller that would be terrible. I don't know why anyone would play a shooter game with a controller.

But please tell me what is wrong with snow? It should be easy to fix.

I hate them. Hahah just kidding. Look interesting Thaur. Im gonna give them a DL. I have kinda moved away from GOW lately messing with unreal 3 and crysis but I really want to love GOW again so gonna start by playing these 2 maps. Keep up the good work.

its from the crysis editor, you can stack squillions of barrels and knock them down in interesting ways

Decent is a nice design and a good concept but a little to short and knell was messed up for me, Had drones floating in mid air and stuff, Nice work
