Inspired by this (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,40168.0.html) thread from another gaming forum... the general idea is this: make a map (or, in the case of the other thread, mission) in thirty minutes.
I'll be more lenient: one hour to make a UT map. My own try is here (http://utforums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=613253). I originally tried for 30 minutes, but the skybox wasn't completed. It took ultimately an hour and thirteen minutes. Probably would've hit an hour and a half if I'd known how to get the level preview in.
So... post your one-hour maps! And in keeping with the style of the original thread, my predictions:
The map will be very small, like my example.
The map will be either very open, like mine, or almost completely closed, so that a complex skybox won't be necessary.
The map will make much use of static meshes, wich are easier to place and use on an on-the-fly basis.
