Is it me or does anyone else feel that the gravity in this game is way out of whack now. When you hit an opponent with a load of rockets they get knocked across the map when they have the shield. Or, I knocked an opponent 10-12 feet in the air with a flak secondary and had to wait for them to come down or try to hit them while they are airborne. This game has enough issues. Please put it back to how it was when you released UT3. Maybe it's me but I never noticed this until the last patch. The same thing happened in UT2k4 and it really killed that games popularity. :mad:

HMMMMM, i member that in 2004, some speacial players would'nt die, I'd knock them all over the place they just bounce off the wall and damage like superman.

Normal grav is excellent feels great but jesus who broke the low grav what ever happend to ut2004 low grav

that's not to do with the gravity I think, it's the mommentum of the weapons

The knockback of weapons is what you're talking about, I believe, and it's awesome as it is. They reduced it from UT to UT2003/4, and it was a horrible decision. Glad it's back, knocking someone into the air with a rocket or flak ball and killing them with hitscan makes me grin every time.

I'm pretty sure you're wrong on both accounts here - there's nothing in the UT3 1.1 or 1.2 change-logs that would indicate knockback has been increased, and I don't think they ever changed it in UT2004, either.

If you talking about Low Gravity mutator than YEAH---->The Low Grav in ut3 travels twice the distance. You can change the gravity in the Utgame.ini:

[Engine.WorldInfo]
DefaultGravityZ=-520.0 <--------default

DefaultGravityZ=-155.0 <--------Like 2K4

i hate the way they make the game heavier, making movement like wading through mud.

but they made the weapon knockback better. bouncing them into the air with a rocket and juggling them around is great :)
