I've been mapping for a few minutes now, been a while since I had a mapping question, but alas I am back. I'm on the 3rd version of a map i'm making but for some reason this time it is gaying out when it gets to pruning reachspecs. Firstly it just does the reachspecs which goes very slow but when it changes to pruning reachspecs it goes about an 1/8th of the way and just freezes, and never finishes building. I need some helpzors with this problem, If anyone wants to try to build the map on their editor please send me an email at cianidechrist@aol.com and I will send you the map. Perhaps it is just acting sketchy because of my editor. Regardless, I want to get this bad boy working.
Or If you have any ideas on how to fix this please post.

well I fixed the problem, had to delete all the paths and it built.

last time this happened to me it was because some pathing was incorrect - in the last case it was ladder path is auto placed in the middle of a laddervolume - if that portion isn't perfect (like perfectly aligned, totally flat, no overlaps etc, then it will just crash - no warning, no errror just crash. So try removing all navigation points and rebuild. (This, of course, will be of NO help if you don't have any pathing, LOL)
another possiblitiy is simply too big - are their gazillions of triangles to be shadowed? May want to decrease lightmap size and try again

i deleted all paths, then pathed it again and it works. But now there is another problem. It will not play online. I'm almost positive that I used no custom meshes but I could be mistaken. I wish there was a way to check the map to see if it contains any non default content. I've spent a solid 20 hours on this map and Don't want to lose it. It works in instant action but not on the server so I have to track down what is different.
