Hey guys, i have a few enemies in my mod that are angel spirits, so i want them to look like they're glowing with bright white light. Also i want to apply the same bright glowing FX to some of the weapons in the game as well,
so do u guys know how to go about it??? i would really appreciate if you guy could include more details with your explanations, like instructions/steps on applying the glowing fx.
Thanks in advance :) :) :D:D:):D;):

Different effect could be applied. I'd suggest a combination of dynamic lighting (subtle and small) and an overall sprite glow, like the player lights in team games.
Do you need help on how to do those?

Search the UnrealWiki for lighting, so you can see how actors can be made to glow with dynamic lighting. Then please search for particle effects, so you can get familiar with using emitters. Then attach your emitter to your character.
I'm certainly not going to hold your hand step-by-step here. That's not what forums are for. That's what a Search is for. ;)

I followed your advice on the making my character's glowing and all, but i still havn't gotten that to work, i mean, u told me to look at dynamic lighting over at Unrealwiki, well, let just say, the topic covers very broad stuff and i'm having a lot of trouble linking up the pieces of information together, i'm just not good with this technical stuff.
So if u can, please tell me with steps-by-steps instruction on making my character glow, and emitting particles lights, if that is possible,, :):D:D Thanks in advance

sorry kiddo no time for step by step, make a test map and fiddle with settings like static glow, there are some others too I think. Search this forum, Angelmapper helped me with this once a couple of years ago
