360 - Game saves/cog tags lost. Help!

This is for GOW on 360, not PC.

So when I first got GOW, a buddy and myself played through split-screen campaign on casual. After we beat casual, we went straight to insane. We completed the first 3 acts on insane and collected approximately 25 of the COG tags. Check my achievements if you want.

We didn't play for several months until last night. Now insane is grayed out and there are no saved COG tags.

I never deleted any saves. What gives? Did an update screw me up or something?

Would it help at all to clear my 360's cache? Would it help to recover my gamertag on my xbox? I haven't had a chance to try either of these yet.

I did search and found some others with this problem, but haven't found a solution.

Also, my other games seem to be fine. It just seems to affect GOW.

Any help is appreciated!

im sure that your profile was the second player not the host..when you host the game and finish it on insane the host would have the ability to play insane were as the second player doesnt it just is basically there to help not actually gain anything.. other than that i wouldnt know..
