Screen flicker on new monitor

Hi ive just got myself a new samsung 22" syncmaster 223bw monitor & now when i play gears my screen flickers ? ive got all the updates i can think of & it only happens in gears all my other games are fine ?

my specs

AMD 64x2 6400 black editon
2 gig 800Mhz ram
2 3870's in crossfire
vista 64 bit

any help would be cool

Did you try it with and without Crossfire enabled? Did you try a flip queue tweak?
