Windows Version - Hangs during LIVE update

Hi

I have reinstalled "from scratch" GOW on Windows Vista, I have already installed latest available fix.
The game hangs when LIVE get update... the progress bar arrives at the end and *puf*... I have to press B (XBOX pad) to go to main menù without update LIVE. I have also wainting for 20 mins !

No antivirus or firewall.

How I can fix ?

Try rolling back the last vista Patch. youre better off without it and it screws with the game

When you say "*puf*", what actually happens?

By installing from scratch you may have gotten yourself into a state where system updates aren't handled properly. That shouldn't be the case if you've installed the latest game patch, but take a look at the following post and see if it helps you out.

At any rate, you should be able to manually download/install the Games for Windows - LIVE update (instructions in the thread as well.)
