Hello again.
In a map i am kinda planing to create i am going to have cross hanging down from the roof like maniquin dolls (kinda like the Metalica master of Puppets cover).

But i dont know how to create the rope so it reacts like it should in the Unreal Tournament Engine.

Any help would be much apriciated.

This set of tutorials should help out. If you want the cross to swing while attached to the rope, then look through that tutorial for something on object attachment. I remember seeing something there about effects like it sounds like you are trying to create. I think the tutorial example is a tire swing.

So if i get this right i just gotha create the cross and the "handles" as Static Meshes and then do all the rope and phsyics magic in the Unreal engine?

If thats the case then wohoo, the Unreal engine is my new lover.

There's also a PhysX map pack tutorial that includes 10 maps, and one of them is called DM-Joints, that has heavy weights and boxes hanging from ropes/cables. Everything reacted to forces, impacts and weapons realistically and swinging weights could kill players if it hit them hard enough.
