well since the forums are kinda slow i decided that i should just make this thread(with Zoso's help)

in both screenshots the crimeson omen is fully appeared(gow symbol) which shows that your dead

me and Zoso think that this Red Screen appears near the end of when the GoW symbol appears(showing ur dead) and so the screen turns red for a couple seconds or so(not sure about the time) and then u can see ur body on the floor and the color goes back to normal and the game says "you are dead" on the screen, not sure if this happens in single player but it probably does

here is a pic of the screen about to turn red b/c the crimeson omen as appeared almost fully and the guy is about to die

i think its similar to james bond when the screen gets painted with blood when ur dead, but in GoW MP the screen kind of flashed red for a lil while and then ur dead

this is kinda a random thread that has barely any purpose, but i thought i should make it b/c i was bored and the forums are kinda slow anyways

its the "death thing" for sure b/c in the pics u see the crimeson omen fully appeard, which in GoW indicates ur death:)

I dont think so. Cause if they were dead or dieing wouldnt they be on the ground. These guys are kneeling.

this right before they die, when u are almost dead u go into the "half dead state" OR "down but not out state"(down on the ground on all fours) thats when u have 15-30 seconds to either be revived by a teammate or be finished off by a enemy, but when u are about to die the GoW symbol starts to appear and when its 90% there the screen turns red or a second and then the game says "you are dead" and then your dead!

I think the screen turns red to warn you that you're almost dead and to run like a little girl!
Maybe some people will be oblivious and wont notice the Omen (That will probably happen to me a lot...) So the red turns into darker and darker shades of red to say "RUN YOU IDIOT!" :D

well actually cliffy said he is going to add blood splattering on the screen soon, well i just watched some videos and i noticed that u can't even see the screen turn red, so im guessing hte screen turns red right after the crimeson omen fully appears and right before u die, and the game says "you are dead", so its only there of like 0.01 seconds or something

I think that for some reason the screen just flashes red 0.01 seconds before or after u die, it flashes so quick we cant see it, well actually i have only seen one MP video that has death in it, so im not sure, maybe the screen turns red for longer, who knows, its really pointless i just made this thread b/c i was bored.............

Sorry, i know the thread is closed, but i think that the red only shows when you are "down but not out" and are bleading to death. The reason it is not seen in every video is because sometimes you just die on the spot and you are never "down but not out"

maybe but then it wouldnt make sense for the screen to turn back in to regular color when ur fully dead, w/e, no offense MacheteMan......:) im just frustrated b/c the forums have been dead and sucking lately, o well, we just need to hope EPIC gives us something to talk about

I get what your saying Uday but i just don't understand why the screen would turn red. Since the Omen is there you know you are nearly dead, why would you need the red screen.

Maybe you get a Red Screen if someone stand-bys or the host leaves :D

i think the red screen just happens for like 1 second, o nvm, its really pointless information, i was retarded when i made this thread........

Sorry to bring this thread back, but it says "Instead of dying right away, you find the screen turning a blood red, and if one of your cohorts walks up, they can revive you and put you back into battle." This must mean that the screen turns red in the down but not out mode. After u die, the screen probly turns back to normal.

Every day I see the General forum half-full of new threads or replies. The forums isn't dead, Epic just haven't released more information about GoW. We know alot already and we shouldn't be whining about getting more. That will ruin the suprise feel.
