Hey y'all, I've been gone a while (still trying to figure out the lighting bug on my other map), but I've started working on a new map, Drizzlehell, which is sort of a Desolation Alley 2.0. I realized through feedback that even though the map was accomplishing its original intention of constricting field-of-vision, and thus giving players a whole new "firefight" experience, it accomplished the goal too well, and was only fun for a match or two before it became stale. With Drizzlehell, I'm hoping to still emphasize a shoot-out atmosphere, but without sacrificing the replayability that gets lost in a restricting environment.

I've only added the bare-bone-basics here (there's no cover or much of anything else except the platforms, runways, sky and surrounding buildings), and even though I have a plan for what to do next (I'm thinking a boomshot on one platform and a sniper rifle on the opposite one, among other things), I'm very interested in suggestions.

EDIT: Please ignore the lighting, that was only there so I could navigate Marcus without bumping into things.

More screens as I've finished (at least basics-wise) the COG and Locust "bases." And now for a tour!

Ah, I thought you were just going for a basic 4-corners, nowhere to hide map.

Looks good.

only problem i can see is the incredible balancing of the barrels, why dont you try standing them "the right way up"

Or putting a metal frame on them of some sort? :o
