In my opinion I think you jumped the gun a little bit. The game has yet to be announced and were talking about the beta. The rumored announcement is in 2 weeks. It they were to do a beta on the PC, it would be an instant hit. Then PC games can Epic what they think needs to change. The same goes for XBOX 360. If it were true I think the beta player should have to report their observation and a more strict beta for 360 shall be implemented. The 360 needs to allow a few people in at a time to test the game. If it turns out like the Halo 3 a ton of little kids will be on and many problems will things up and the Testing will be forfeited.

It sounds like you're saying that the Halo 3 beta wasn't useful for the developers, which couldn't be further from the truth if you tried. The point is to put a strain on the servers by having many people on at once, so that they can improve the netcode and the like.

If you're talking about having the community actually talk about what they dislike in the game, I really feel that it is better to leave that to focus groups and internal testers rather than the entire consumer base, which will ALWAYS disagree with something (and I'm sure many of them would contradict eachother).

Why is this thread in the "beta releases" for MAPS? This forum section is for maps in beta stage, not random statements.

Yes, this is in the forum USER maps and mods. I don't think us users are creating GoW 2.
