SP_Crossfire Teaser video

I have just uploaded a teaser of the upcoming GearsofWar PC. Net singleplayer map called SP_Crossfire

The video is 55.8MB and contains 2.30 min of gameplay in the first part of the map. As one can see in the video the map promises full action gameplay.

Ohh, btw, if you thought that looked hard, well .. the newest build is a bit harder.
The level even have some well hid "Treasures" (Ammo and weapons)

I've tried Rambo style, I have not made it yet, so you will need to use every millisecond you've got for planning...

Well just watched the teaser and there appears to be like some sort of shadow moving along the ground, something like that. You can see a seperation in the background to the right at the beginning of the level as in, there's a line. And there's one part where you have a bunch of ammo all in one place and it just looks weird. Try and seperate the ammo around the surrounding area. Other than that the map looks pretty good. Oh by the way, I find it a hassle to download a video. For upcoming teaser trailers, can you also upload this video on Youtube?

BrendanL: The shadows are water running over rocky terrain, it doesn't show properly in the video, It's really raining like crazy, however for Editorial reasons I had removed the raincube temporarily and forgot to add it back for the teaser, I guess the shades would make more sense if you actually got to see the rain.

About the ammo pickups, there is a sniper pickup there, the best way for making the map without dieing is if you pick up the sniper, if you do you will need a full sniper rifle, there's allot of hard AI spawning on a trigger nearby and the best way to take them out is by using the sniper rifle.

About the separation I'm not sure what you are talking about...

Like instead of having all the ammo in one place, have it spread all over that area. Like this ammo box will be behind this cover, this ammo box will be behind this other cover and so on... This would make the player vulnerable though when going to the other side to pick up ammo.

If I am reading this right and you really did delete the rain cube, there is a much more nifty solution to that problem. What you can do is in the generic browser, go to groups. Add a new group and you can add all of your rain cubes to that group. Now once you have positioned them the way you want, you can simply uncheck the box on the lefthand side. This way, they will show up in game but not in the editor. Win win.

I haven't watched the video yet though. Youtube is definitely your friend.

I believe he was looking for the Single Player map.
