If you can find some bot AI bugs please let me know. I worked a long time on the bot AI and I need to know if you feel the bots are working. So if you dl this map pay attention to how the bots work. I'm kinda new to botpathing and I dont really know if its right or not.

(Things to look out for - Climbing over the billboard to get sniper - Jump through window - Walk up ramps... etc)

Well since you have gone to the trouble of making the bots competitive I will definitely give the map a spin around the block. :) It looks pretty cool and the ideas you have to make it a final sound really solid.

The bots are good so no worries there. The level is actually pretty fun ... there are some things you need to work on as you know and at this point I don't have any suggestions except to maybe make it so you cannot fall off into the water ... I think having a fence around the mini islands would be very cool ... oops there I go. I am just going to wait and see what your vision expands to and make any suggestions on the next beta that is much more fleshed out. Ammo on this level is low for some weapons though I do have to say that. I like the flak room though ... that is pretty interesting. The level does feel cramped especially going into the buildings. At this point I don't have anymore to add ... oh make sure you have some waves crashing up against the mini island and have some birds, and sounds and stuff for ambiance. Okay that is it really. :D I'll save any other comments I might have until the next beta. Thanks for sharing this level with us. :)

Some very nice comments - Thanks! It's just I dont know how to do the crashing waves or anything, do I use emitters?

The flak room is a bit cramped, but if you put the brightness up it can feel better, and more spacious. Should I make the roads bigger or something?

Check with other mappers about the waves ... actually there is a VCTF or WAR level that has waves so if you open that level up you'll be able to see how Epic did it. But if not then just go here: http://gearsforums.epicgames.com/forumdisplay.php?f=351

The roads should be larger ... play with a value between 15-25% I would say. :)

The dl link has also been updated. However, the names of the maps arent the same. (The .zip archive is the same name though) Instead of DM-Altos2, the name is now DM-Altos22, so you don't need to overwrite any files.

Comment on the Terrain and improved botpathing (They now use jump pads - and go for hard-to-get (ish) powerups. xD)

Thanks

Those look really sharp man ... don't forget to add some depth of field blur effect but don't overdo it. Take a look at Shangri-La or CarbonFire ... and the oriental themed CTF level. I'm looking forward to the next beta already. :)
