View Full Version : I will not be playing GoW for quite a while...

Why? Simply because my 360 has been affected with the 3 red lights after working perfectly for over 22 months, and since I don't really have the money, and no one is lending me any, I'll have to send it in and wait for a new one. :(

Even then, I'm looking forward to playing more of CoD4 after my 360 gets back since I need to unlock whatever I can before I reach the desired rank of atleast 40+. I am currently at 17, and just as I reached 17, the screen (and 360) froze on me and died.

This is pretty hard to type. <_< Yes, I'm saddened, but the reason it's hard to type this in is because I'm using the freakin' Wii internet browser becase I *ALSO* managed to screw up my computer. Of course, I keep repairing and formatting it, but it always screws up on me. I will buy a new one. That is the only option since I don't know **** about computers and how to repair them anyway, so that means I won't be coming here for a while aswell. =^/

Damn, just keep on playing (and enjoying) GoW's sweet, short campaign and the amazing multiplayer.

Farewell, for now.

Im so sorry for u my friend. It's a shame that microsoft's console which has a huge flagship title like Gears, is not built to last. Microsoft extends the warranty, but never solves the problem. This red ring of death thing is very common, and is enough to lose alot of die hard fan's of micosoft's console. I don't know if u were taking care of your 360 or not. but all I know is that I feel so sorry for u man. God be with u. And have a happy new year. Step ya game up to a PS3 my friend. Unreal 3 is awsome.

lol.... Happy new year's?

That sucks... I just recently went through the same thing. You MIGHT want to consider asking a friend to lend you their 360's power strip for a day and see if it will work with your 360. I've read about people buying a new power strip for their 360 and it working again. If that's the case, 15$ power strip >>>> 300$ new console anyday, or a 1 month wait for a repaired 360 from MS.

I had the red rings about 4 months ago. I've toweled my xbox at least 20 times and now it's been working. I haven't had to towel it in the last 2 weeks.

Hopefully I didn't just jinx it...

You're always playing GHIII or AC when I'm online. :S

About replacing the power brick...does it work? I'll give it a try.

Thanks.

Dang that sucks. I feel bad for people who have had the 3 rings of death cuz I've had my xbox for like 2 years and it hasn't happened to me yet.

Watch it happen after i post this.

Hell yeah! That's the stuff. Only problem is that I don't usually play the Wii since it's my brothers and it's his Wii friend code. <_<; I will try to give it out.
