Forum broken? [pics]

The forum has looked like this:

For some of us for a couple of weeks, tolerable but no where near ideal, random icons and elements just vanish or get replaced by alt texts, wreaking havoc on the table layouts in the process.

It seems it's gotten even worse, when I tried to reach the forum today the first attempt gave me a "server not found" message, the second attempt gave me this:

The stylesheet itself had gone missing, that's how I browse the forum atm.

A fix in the works forum staff? :|

This has been happening for days, and they're already aware of it. Seems to happen about once a year.

No wonder the game is buggy. :D What browser are you using? I use Mozilla and sometimes see a white page or when I move around get a time out page and have to refresh. No biggy, but it does happen quite a bit. I haven’t tried IE, because one refresh is all it takes.

FF2, using IEtab/IE7/IE6/IE5.5 I get the same results.

Yeah I tried IE6 and it still did it. Not every time though.

The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading

I've been getting the "server not found" error for several weeks. And it isn't just the forums, it appears to be ALL Epic websites. I'm guessing they use the same server for everything, which makes sense. What is frustrating is that I may go a couple of days without being able to access the forums at all. Other days, I can't post because I get the error when I submit my post. It has gotten a little better in the last week or so.

I wonder if it has something to do with post being so fast here? It would be a train wreck if this forum stop working for any time with all the post it get.

Thanks for looking into it Flak, my guess would be an issue with the server that hosts the icons, since the background image is rock solid but the icons vanish most of the time.

It only happened to me twice, but when I refreshed the page it was back to normal.

Lots issues here too. Smileys, avatars, nearly all images are broken (red X of doom) and the forum itself appears as a blank white sheet with blue font from time to time. o.O

Edit: 5th attempt to post this and it did an auto triple-post. :S

I've been seeing the white screen bug too in the last couple days. Today, on 3 occasions so far, I've recieved the 'page cannot be displayed' message when clicking on a pg# link or the forum index links up top. Refreshing brought up the page in it's bugged white screen format. Another refresh had it up just fine. Could this be from heavy web traffic bogging down the server?

Ok, I'm sorry that I haven't been on top of this, peeps. I looked into things a little further and did some maintenance. PM (since I'm not really active on the forums) me if you continue to see issues.

This sort of behaviour typically happens when the server is too busy.

Page Cannot be displayed because the content cant be gathered

Page without stylesheet or some images because only some of the content is downloaded from the server before the rest is denied.

Yeah had those problems sometimes aswell, mostly just had to refresh for it to be good again.
