listen, people, there is almost nobody on gow right now. use this thread to post matches you are in and waiting to start so maybe some of us can join. this way, matches will start quickly. and people can get kills quicker

screw you guys, i have well over 10,000 and im just trying to get some kills. not to mention, the servers for xbl are down and that was the only game available. now, nobody can play any game online. the servers are screwed up right now. i dont play "achievement matches", that was the only thing available. im gonna get kills, whether its a match to 19, or 1, i dont care

Just because you play for fun does not mean that everyone plays for fun. Some people like to just play with their friends, and some like to get achievements. I find it very fun to get achievements. I dont play Queers of War anymore because 13,000 kills and no seriously makes the game not fun for me. If you just "play for fun" why do you even check how many kills you have? Why do you even play ranked matches?

This is the quote I was refering too. I was playing to get the achievement. Thats it. Thats the way I play. I get achievements.
I dont get a robot because I enjoy playing the game and getting achievements. He is saying he is not whining because he did not get the achievement and that he does not care and he plays for fun. Well, if you play for fun, why do you play ranked matches? If he did not care why did he even look up his kills? I understand you want to know where you are at, but if you play "for fun" You should not care where you are at compared to everyone else. Yes I find it fun when you unlock achievements but some achievements were not really "fun" to get. Trying to get seriously was not fun all of the time. This is true in Gears and in other games. Most of the Dead Rising achievements were not fun either. But I got them because it makes it all worth it when the achievement unlocks. When an achievement says kill 10,000 people and you kill 13,000+ and you dont get it, its REALLY not fun. See, there is a difference between playing for "fun" and playing for "achievements."
