Problem finding games on Live.

Up until yesteday I've had no problem finding games, they're always in abundance. The past couple days I've had issues though. It's like everyone quit playing all of a sudden. Even Player Matches are scarce. Anyone else having problems finding games on XBLive?

Yeah I just popped the disc in hoping to hop online and play a few games only to find that there weren't any?!!?! I thought it was a problem on my end but it appears not to be.

I even tried hosting a match and it wouldn't work. :-/

having the same problem. thought it was cause of halo 3 or something but apparently its an issue for alotta people. im getttin little or no matches at all and its been happening since 2 nights ago:mad:. it be great if an epic or xbox live exec could respond and tell us why this is or if itll be fixed

wow i just talked to a few friends, and apparently they cant connect to anything else with halo 3 or COD 4. so i called xbox and they had an auto voice saying they know about the problem and are working around the clock to fix it. they said theyll have some status updates on the website

I honestly think it's a problem with Gears of War AND Xbox Live. Because there are barely any games up and a lot of times (recently) if you're in a game, and the host starts it, the game will freeze for a second (like not starting) and then it will force someone to quit. This happened to me, and it caused my xbox to freeze. It's happened twice so far, and I've had friends on Live say the same thing happened to them. I was also playing a GB match earlier, and it just randomly signed me out of Live then froze my xbox.

I honestly think it's a problem with Gears of War AND Xbox Live. Yeah this happened a couple times after I made this thread. I'm bored and I need my Gears fix!!!:p

Guys, Xbox Live is having a lot of problems, Xbox Live and Windows Live are the same service so you will be having some trouble.

Stay tuned to a site like IGN or teamxbox, Microsoft won't update their site as fast as they will theirs. This is a universal problem for live, so lets keep our thumbs crossed and hope that it is fixed soon. :(;)

I also remember this happening in the past with GoW (a while back), I'm not sure if that is the same problem.

I'm goin to go ahead and assume I've got the worst of it here, seeing I've not been able to recover my own gamertag on my own xbox since Thursday... so no gears for me at all, finding games is the least of my troubles.

Its XBOX Live, not gears, not epic. every xbox live game is having the same problem. The only way to play is unranked matches (player matches, Social slayer) i dont know why but its only a prob with ranked games.

Bump-I can usually only find two or three choices of matches.....and that just isn't enough.
