View Full Version : Heightfog destroys lighting???

I put 2 Heightfog actors in my map just to see the result on a map and the fog itself looks pretty good, but I noticed that the static lighting on all static meshes turn completely black from the Z position of the top Heightfog, all the way to the ground. It's like it's completely obliterating all lightmaps from there down except on my terrain, and looks like crap....
Any ideas? :o:confused:

Only way I've found to fix this is to make my skylight and directional lights Dynamic, but that makes my performance kinda choppy (FPS = 30-40 with some drops as low as 18 if there's a lot of meshes on screen.)
It's just weird because if I just omit the heightfog, it lights everything the way it's supposed to.... As soon as I put new ones in, it's the same....
