You can find this info if you read other posts, I'm just trying to save you some time.
I connected a different DVD drive and used the upgraded windows installer included on the UT3 game DVD (explore the drive and you can't miss it).
My LG drive is crap, the new drive I used was a lite-on and it worked on the first try.
