ok i know you guys don't hang out in the maps/models section but there are a few of us who would like help making new factions work in UT3. The reason we need this is that when we add new characters we have to add them to the exisiting factions (via ini) which will soon get very tight also it make it very hard for the noobs who then have to edit the ini file which can cause the game to crash. So if any of you feel up to it please post here.
ps atm i have 2 characters (quick bodge) for faction testing if you need content to work with cheers Geo

This thread needs a big bump. If any of you coders can get this working you will be very popular amongst the community and character modelers out here waiting to get custom content in the game. I can't count how many times people PM me and ask "just add a voicepack and I'll download the model" or "how come the model uses human gibs and blood when its a robot?"
Just in case you've missed it :
According to Mysterial the reason it may not be working might be due to some hardcoded features that only Epic can fix for us.
This is one of the better features in the game ... so we really need to have this fully functional if custom-characters are to be worth doing in this game.
