Is there anything documented that explains the confusing directory structure of UT3?
For example....
Why is there an Unpublished and Published folder?
I have created a directory to place my maps in called "User\Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Published\CookedPC\CustomMaps.
I created this directory as one didn't exist upon installation. It appears that I can name it "Maps" and it works just as well.
Odd that UT3 created a "CustomMaps" directory in the "Unpublished" folder that I don't use at all at this point but UT3 installed it. Again odd.
Some mutators are installed in their own directory while others share common folders. Can I create custom directories for mutators even if they unzip into common folders?
To add to the confusion, many of the mutators/maps I download come with inaccurate information on where to unzip the files.
It sure would be nice if there was some information available that explains the correct directory structure and everyone would use it/refer to it in readme's and use that directory structure when zipping files.
We really need a UT2004Mi for UT3!!!
