View Full Version : MP_Asylum (Playable BETA)
So out of no where my mind when into creative level design mode and within a couple of hours I designed this level that I have entitled Asylum.
EDIT: After a working on this map for week I now have a playable beta version. Here is the link http://www.mozidesign.com/files/mp_asylum.zip
I already play tested it with a buddy so it works and he gave some comments on some cover spots I need to fix and add. But for the most part it's IMO 95% done.
So download it, play it, and have fun... look forward to your comments.

Nice, reminded me of Gondor from LotR and Oblivion. You should remove the water vent thing from the base of the tree in the first picture, it is out of place. You are headed in a great direction for your map, that idea is one of the many ideas I have had in my head for Gears maps I would like to make. Also, I believe you should google pics of Gondor from the LotR movies, it will definitely help you in designing your map, and it would look great with an overcast/shadowy sky. Good luck.

Thanks for the feedback there. Actually I never thought of it to be like LotR or Obivilion. I guess it kind of looks like that now due to the fact that there is no color light.
I don't think I am going to go in that direction either, a neat a idea but not what I had in mind. Perhaps when it is lit it will feel more like an Asylum or some sort of GoW location from the game.
As for the mesh with the water vent well that is how the mesh is I don't have the skills to open it and edit the mesh in Max. What I can do is find an alt mesh :)
