DETOX 4 MP maps

DETOX is a GOW mod created by students at the Art Institute of Los Angeles. All assets, characters, and levels were designed and made by students.

Story:

There is a prison where people are sent to labor for the government. A riot breaks out and all of the guards are killed. The government sends in a team of mercenaries to clean up the mess.

the 4 maps are named

Processing Plant
Med lab
Surface
Hydro

in wave 2 there will be 2 more multilayer maps and a single player level.

also that is our custom character Kurtz we have 6 characters total in the game.

there is a bug that if you play multilayer it will only spawn you as the characters once. It is fixed along with some other bugs. I'll have an updated download in early January.

You can create custom characters! O_o Man. I just assumed it was Kim because the person was bald and I thought it was some sort of glitch that he was missing pieces of armor.

**** me, it's something new, progression if you will, regardless of if you like it or not. I'm personally sick of seeing Marcus fenix, new characters are always welcome because it's a change, and I don't think it's that bad to warrant 3 posts complaining that it doesn't fit, it is relevant to their content.

you need to register though this pack has all sorts of cool things like 6 different playable characters & 4 custom maps but its a little buggy and needs some attention unfortunely its a cooked package.

i emailed the original creator and he said he was done with it and when he had time he was going to re-upload another package but i think its highly unlikly.

Sweet mother of Mercy, it took about 2 1/2 hours to download this monster of a file...

...is right, this stuff is crazy, too bad in the editor the packages are all inter-linked, causing things like walls to not load, and if you load it all again it crashes....however, I like the dead gaurds, I think I might use some of this for a future project....I haven't even looked at the custom characters yet...ha, It could be funny to have them in Lance...headshot them all, muwhahahaha!
