Hi,
i'm just wondering if UT3 supports reserved slots.
I've seen "NumPrivateConnections=X" setting, but what does it do? (also "NumOpenPrivateConnections=X" :confused: )
How to set password for reserved slots?

Hello there :)

I've got a nice VCTF server pretty used. I want to let it open while I'm not there for everyone to play but when I come back from work it's just full :D

No other chance than stop/restart the server to play with my team ...

Reserved slots, NumPrivateConnections parameter how to ?????

We don't know how. On the other hand, consider yourself lucky that you have a full server.

From what Ive read....
Private connections use the server password.
Pub connections never gets assigned a password.
So, for a totally locked server, you would need to set open pub connections to zero, password the server and only allow private connections.

I think the best use of a pub connection is it allows specs "in thoery". When its working.

Interesting but then how to connect or use the connection password ?

I read elsewhere that private connection could be slots reserved on the LAN area of the server... only epic could give a clear answer I guess.

Has anyone else been able to figure this one out? Or does anyone know of a mutator that will allow reserved slots to be created?
