I was just looking at some of the trailers and movies that have been released before the game came out.
In one of the movies you see some fights in Torlan.
Now the thing is, in the movies Torlan is loaded with grass... yes grass.

I got all the settings on max but i don't see a single straw, only green textures.

So are my graphics f*kd or is it just the old torlan that had grass?

heh it's not the grass itself that is important to me, just knowing its not my graphics that are wrong is.

But yea, that grass. Weird... I aint seeing any.
ima check my setting again when i get home.

to get back to this thread... what setting do you have the game on?
I can set everything on 5 but it aint working :S

I remember seeing some play through of torlan be one of the epic guys. It was covered in snow and the ons-01 music was playing, wierd. What happened to the classic nmusic anyway? I liked torlan with that.

yea the old torlan music rocks.
there is some topic in this forum where you can download the ut3 ost. One of the songs is a remix of the ONS-Torlan music.

what's the difference anyway of Torlan and classic Torlan map? I thought it would have the old music but it doesnt... so what is the difference

Did a quick peek and didn't find such thing in the .INI....

thanks for the quick look.
I guess it must be my videocard (radeon x800).
It's an old gpu but the game runs fine, and I can set it to highest settings on 1280x1024.
so I don't really understand the problem since I can see grass in some deathmatch maps.

You can't run max effects on an x800. I upgraded mine to an 8800GT.

ah, so even if you CAN put environment to 5 it wont be really on highest?
that explains alot...

well I'm gonna upgrade my card soon. whenever I have money that is :P
