I don't know if this is the right board in which to post this, I'm rather new here.

I am currently in the process of writing a detailed design document for an action-RPG, said document including descriptions of weapons, armor, spells, NPCs, areas, and a script. While I believe I am a talented writer, I do not have the resources to code and develop the game personally, or to hire a team of programmers, but I was directed to the UT3 mod community. I'd like to find some programmers who are interested in this project.

Sorry for the double-post folks, just bumping my topic back to the first page.

It'll help greatly if you yourself have some skills besides writing. Even taking pictures of brick walls for textures can be helpful. Also, bump it again when you have the design doc fleshed out. "Weapons and armor" isn't very descriptive, so right now all I can imagine is a mod based on an old SNES game where all the characters were playing cards.

Which actually might be neat now that I think about it.

Making a decent RPG out of nothing is an immense task that can easily occupy a dozen people fulltime for a year. Start with something really small to get a taste of what mod making is like. A single weapon to replace the Enforcer, for example. Or a different armor pickup. Or a map.
