I'm trying to redo my keybinding but i have some troubles :
- In UT2K4, i used pipedswitchweapon. Is it possible to do the same in UT3 ?
- I want to set a new action to the "tab" key. Is it possible ? (it seems to be reserved to "open console")
- I've set the "one" key and the "two" key to new actions. But there is a problem when driving vehicles : i can't anymore use these keys to change of seat. Is it possible to affect those keys to new actions but keep the default actions when driving vehicles ?

this cannot be done i beleive the nearest to this is a line that will switch to 1 of 2 weapons depending on what one you have in youe arsnal , if you have both it will not switch between the two but always choose the first weapon.
It is also a major headache for a lot of clan peeps whom I have spoken to, and is part of there reluctance ( along with a list of others ) to move away from earlier UT games and adopt UT3.

Does Epic plan to correct those things ?
I though keybinding was a main concern for a fps...

PipedSwitchWeapon is possible using the "aliases" method.

If they aren't anything to do with switching to a different weapon and it doesn't matter that you do switch to hammer/enforcers, then you can bind 1 and 2 to both those actions and SwitchWeapon 1/2 and it will do both depending on your situation.

under [Engine.Console]
make sure that Tab isn't listed there, if so change it.
Then in both the upper and lower keybinding section make a new bind with Name "Tab" and the Command of your choice.
All done.

I tried to type pipedswitchweapon in the console and it did nothing.
open UTInput.ini
under [Engine.Console]
make sure that Tab isn't listed there, if so change it.
Then in both the upper and lower keybinding section make a new bind with Name "Tab" and the Command of your choice.
All done.
It doesn't seem to function.
Here is what i changed :
[Engine.PlayerInput]
Bindings=(Name="tab",Command="GBA_SwitchWeapon8")
[Engine.Console]
TypeKey=Quote
[UTGame.UTPlayerInput]
Bindings=(Name="tab",Command="GBA_SwitchWeapon8",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False)

Have you tried removing every Tab instance in the ini
but then bind the tab key in the Menu to your Weapon 8

I tried but menu doesn't accept tab as input.
