I have finished writing Killeporter for Unreal Tournament 3.
With this silly little mutator, when you kill someone you are teleported to their location. Be careful because you can wind up getting killed inside the splash damaged that killed your target! And it works quite nicely as an anti-camping mod.
You can get it here (http://martiancartel.com/wp/?page_id=31).

Cool mod, but there is a rather annoying bug:
Sometimes when you kill someone and warp there, your camera is slanted slightly to the side.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll play some more and see if I can reproduce and fix the bug.

Is it just my imagination, or are you the same guy I suggested this mutator to back in the days of UT2k4? Of course, I called it "telefrag," but I think it was you who actually made it =)
Anyway, glad to see a new version!

I remember this for UT2004. That was fun to use. As for the term "telefrag", that was already in use by fragging someone with the translocator, and still is.

I am the same guy! In fact, your name is once again credited in the readme for the original idea :).

Heh, I only wish I'd come up with it. I don't know what game it was, (might have been an obscure UT2k3 mutator.. I collected tons.. or it might not have been UT at all), but there was some mutator called "telefrag" that did the same thing as your Killeporter.
Nice to see it again =) My favorite place to use this was always CTF with instagib ;)

Interesting bit about fragging w/ the translocator, didn't know that =)

Wait what happens if you push someone off the map, do you teleport there and crater?

Short answer: no.
Long answer: The teleportation is based off of who did the damage for the killing blow. So if the ground delivers the killing blow, no teleportation will occur.

That is an interesting way of doing it instead of just going with who the kill is registered to by the game...creative and i'm sure it keeps bugs or accidental suicide to a minimum.

Killeporter has been cooked for the PS3 by euchreplayer23, get it here (http://files.filefront.com/KilleporterPS3zip/;10157452;/fileinfo.html).

This is sweet, one thing, what happens if you commit suicide with force respawn? Do you teleport to where you die?

I think you just spawn normally then.
