View Full Version : light but no shadow

i've this problem, where i build the map, i don't see the shadows anymore, only on static mesh, after when i move a light somewhere,the shadows come back on terrain too,
someone know the solution?

When you move lights in the editor the perspective view will show you dynamic shadows (slow as hell in my comp...). But when you build the map you get those shadow maps. I guess, still have a lot to learn.

But you can try to decrease the lightmap size of the terrain from the surface properties, it should be something like 32, set it to like 4 and build again.

Try this tutorial - I've not tried (or even read it) thoroughly so I don't know exactly what problems it fixes, but it's worth a try.
